Earth Hour 2009 - Aftermath

The Earth Hour for year 2009 have passed.

Did you do your part as an Earthling?

Here's some videos about last night's Earth Hour around the world.

KLCC， Malaysia

Bird Nest, China

And one of the starting point of Earth Hour,

Sydney, Australia

Earth Hour 2009. Tonight it is.

One of the most important events to mark on today's world: Earth Hour.

This year's theme :"Vote Earth; Your Light Switch is your Vote"

It's basically an election between 2 candidates: The Earth, and Global Warming. And we, the residents of Earth, is the voters.

How?

It's simple: Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming.

Every single vote counts. Vote for The Earth.

(by switching off your lights)

Earth Hour is definitely a meaningful event for the planet Earth, to face and fight the truth of global warming.

If you are interested, and wanted to know more about it (or even take part in it), visit Earth Hour's official site,

OR

Click Here. It was an introduction post about Earth Hour I wrote on year 2008 back then.

"So, what exactly is Earth Hour? It is created to take a stand against the greatest threat our planet has ever faced, Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming."

28th of March, 830pm - 930pm of your local time. Wherever you are, switch off your lights.

Its the day when Art of Thirteen is rebooted ~~

To-be-Rebooted

Hey everybody,

it's been awhile isn't it?

since... since my... my last...

well, you know what I mean.  <=]

Well, I'm now preparing for the reboot of this blog. (Note: This is good. Lolz.)

No, not right away, maybe a couple of days later. I mean, I'll need some time to change some of the stuffs here right? The arrangement, the layout, the style and the feel, maybe. (or maybe I'll just keep the same old Art of Thirteen XD )

And these are the things, or the topics, you'll expect to see, here, in the future: My thoughts/opinion about something, some meaningful facts/stories worth sharing, and maybe some funny stuffs, like jokes or funny pics....

So...

.........................................

(You know what I'm going to say aren't you? >=] )

..........................

...........

......

Stay Tuned ~~~!

Cheers,
