noticed any similarities?

Yea, what I'm trying to show is, the percentage sign kind of looks like a fraction of zero-zero.

I wonder if this is where the percentage sign came from. Lolz.

One question:

Use only ONE word to relate Egyptian & Mother.

The answer is Mummy.

Let's try another one.

Piano & Lock

Answer : KEY (there are KEYs on a piano, and you use a KEY to open locks)

Interesting huh?

You see, "Mummy" and "Key" are what we called Homograph.

It's a word which have two or more meanings, but it is always spelled the same. Eg: the word "tank" can be used in "army tank", or "water tank", both with same spelling, but different meanings.

Credit goes to Dr. Pascale Michelon who created this. =]

No, I'm not talking about the padang rumput thingy pasture. What I mean by Pas-ture here is Past & Future, which when we combine both words, we get Pas-ture. ^^ .. (.... -____-)

Let's talk about Past first.

Past, would be a massive collection of yesterday; It is the source of our memory; It is the today of our future. In reality, we are always in the losing of our "now" to our past. In fact, each and every second we are having right now is becoming a past.

Now let's talk about futures.

We are living in a world filled with unknown, we live and breathe every single day, for our future. The never-ending search for future started light years ago, however, future never comes - there is always a future. We are never going to 'reach' the future.

Day and night we live with the everlasting embracement of past and future.
How far is our past? How far is our future?
Past and future prison our heart.

Which past happened for our future? Which future happens because of our past?
Past is unchangeable, Future is unpredictable
Past is a truth, future is a belief.

Past is embellished by tears, Future is embraced by fear.
Future will be the past, Past was once the future.

Tomorrow is the day after tomorrow of yesterday.

About Newton's Third Law

Note: This is NOT about physics or mathematics.

Lex III: Actioni contrariam semper et æqualem esse reactionem: sive corporum duorum actiones in se mutuo semper esse æquales et in partes contrarias dirigi.
Newton's third law (Law of reciprocal actions) states that all forces occur in pairs, and these two forces are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.

~Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, Sir Isaac Newton

In other words,
Every action has its equal opposing force(s).

Including you and me.

You see, for everything you're seriously bad in, you will possess something that you're extremely good with. In fact, the degree of "Good" and "Bad" in that particular thing is equal.

This mean, the more bad you are in field A, the better you are in field B.

So guys, don't be disappointed or give up when you found out that you're so poor in doing something, or even being the worst in that particular thing, because that just means you're the best in something else, which you may or may not discover yet.

The worse implies the best.

The Red

The feeling is so blue
after all I've went through
the piercing of needle
glowing more than just a metal

I'm standing in a white box
filled with crimson sand and fuchsia rocks
It's not about what I've seen
it's about the voices screaming from within

I can smell the red
yes, do feel free to take
I can feel the flow
no, I'm not embraced by sorrow

I am, smiling for the red satisfaction.

Blood Donation save lifes(sssss)
I did. Did you?

"One World, One Dream"

Mind Mapping

Attended Tony Buzan's talk in college few days ago.

It was quite fun actually, well, at least now I can memorize the planets of the Solar System, in order! Lolz.

He's the world's leading expert on brain and the founder of the famous Mind Mapping- a thinking technique used by over 250 million people worldwide.

Basically, it's a thinking technique which uses visual and graphical braches, like a road map, to illustrate the details about a particular topic. It is a powerful graphical technique that is said to be able to unleash the hidden potential of our brain. The usage of Mind Mapping covers many field - education, personal, and even corporates.

"The clue to Mind Mapping’s effectiveness lies in its dynamic shape and form. It is designed to work with the associative, organic nature of your brain’s processing system, thereby drawing upon your limitless natural capabilities. "

About Point of View

In many times we see things with only one point of view - ourself.
But the truth is, every single thing in this world has unlimited ways of seeing it.

That's why angles exist;
That's why degree exists;
That's why directions exist;
That's why reality is in 3-Dimensional.
(Okay, I was just joking about this one. -__-)

Okay, here's something which is quite interesting:

Take a good look at these two pictures of Mona Lisa.

Have you noticed anything? Differences? Strange?

Now look at these two.

(It's the SAME picture as above, turn your monitor/ your head upside down if you still don't believe me.)

(Source: www.exploratorium.edu)

Get it now?
You see, Mona Lisa is a masterpiece, which, we could recognize it at first glance - even it is turned upside down.
But the thing is, we're not familiar with an vertically-inverted Mona Lisa. In other words, we're not familiar with an upside-down point of view. Seeing things in different point of view really does affects our thoughts and decisions, right?

Different things may look the same at a certain point - but the truth is, it's not.

~Deep apologies to Leonardo da Vinci for the desecration of his masterpiece~

Thirteen on the news~

18th of June, which is last week's Wednesday, The Star newspaper had an issue about Malaysia's teenager taking blogging as part of their life. Couple of blogs appeared on it, and guess what?

Yupz, Art of Thirteen was part of the issue. Well, let the pictures say the words~

Some screenshots about the issue

Then here comes Art of Thirteen~

Lots of thanks to Chester~! =]

Chorus x 2 (or as many times as you want)

Hope you enjoyed yourself~

Prologue ~ The P
Do you still remember
the story of the black-painted letter?
it's about the premature soul
and "its" story that was never told

Temptation is slicing the meat
bloody viper that broke the sheet
finding ways without a clue
crawling straight into the suretU
then there's the time
vomiting through the days and night begins
voiceless scream of the slime
awaken the soul that lies within
Then there's the time
sounds of quarrel burning high
nurturing the artistic crime
finally portrayed in the poem of lie

Chapters ~ The A

Uncontrollable consumptions begins
incomparable pain shouts from within
illusions which kills the heart
saturates the mixture of tears and blood

Fear drains you away from reality
peacefully you lie down by screaming crazily
gazing at the blue ceiling for that sole reason
observing your limbs wide open

Your emotions are getting low
maybe it is because of the enslaved soul,
that is sliced into pieces and portion
or maybe you're feeling high as you reach satisfaction

Tears from the inside, you could feel "it" cry
Pain from the outside, you can feel "it" die

Epilogue ~ The C

The Society has gone very wrong
they sing and praise the insidious song
Deep below the skin you touch
flows the blood that doesn't match

Humanity embraces the lust
Rationalism being engulf and crush
Insanity evokes and growing strong
blurring the vision of right and wrong

The Society was drowned by sound of vice
listening to their thirst for sacrifice
when sorrow is peeling your skin
Time is praying for forgiveness from within

Didn't you notice the head of the foetus
hanging on the tree behind you?

Yoshiki (leader, drummer and pianist of XJapan) collasped during the concert!

During XJapan playing the song "Art of Life", Yoshiki black out and fall on his drum sets. Concert staff quicky carry him out the stage, making them unable to complete the first night of concert.

I hope he'll be alright. <=)

Reminder - Earth Hour

Everybody, remember Earth Hour?
I've mention it in a post in the past. In case you haven't read it, please click
here .

I just wanted to remind you guys about its date - 29th of March, 2008.
which is only 3 days to go.

KEN LEE~~ (Can't Live) X)

Warning :This post is not intended for any ethnic tensions or historical debates. It's just for laugh. X)

Okay, i found out something which is quite interesting.
It is about this special woman - Valentina Hasan.

"Ken Lee~~~ Tulibu dibu douchoo~"

Don't understand? Hahaz, its absolutely OK, it is actually English.. with just abit of not-too-accurate pronounciation. It actually means :

"Can't Live~~~ If living is without you~"

Lolz. Here's why:

During the second season of the Bulgarian show, "Music Idol" , this woman sang Mariah Carey's song "Without you" in a ....well.... in unique English, if you get what I mean.
Okay, just watch her video and you'll know what am I taking about. x)

(p/s: before watching the video, kindly go to the bottom of this page and stop the background music first.)

Get what I mean now? x)
This whole song she is singing is ORIGINALLY sang by Mariah Carey, FULLY in English.

The problem is her pronounciation of English was rather.... not accurate. In fact, I couldn't understand a single word of what she is singing about... UNTIL... the KEN LEE part! (which was supposed to be "Can't Live". lolz.)

Another thing is, she even mentioned the wrong song name, which should be "Without You" , instead of Can't Live (which, she pronounced as Ken Lee. XD).
And the worse part is, she even denied it when one of the judges ask her for a confirmation on the song name.

But, she did IMPROVED a lot later on.

This "Ken Lee" song thing then quickly becomes a hit single around the world.
Peoples around the world sing this special-version of "Can't Live", named "Ken Lee", some even immitate her singing style (of course her pronounciation too, hahaz) and post it online. Lolz.

However, I do think she has a great vocal. Her voice really sounds good. =]
All the best to her singing carreer.

Oh ya, if you need the lyrics of the real version of Can't Live, here's it:

No I can't forget this evening
Or your face as you were leaving
But I guess that's just the way The story goes
You always smile but in your eyes Your sorrow shows
Yes it shows

No I can't forget tomorrow
When I think of all my sorrow
When I had you there But then I let you go
And now it's only fair That I should let you know
What you should know

I can't live
If living is without you
I can't live
I can't give anymore

Coloured poem?

To make things VERY clear.. I"M NOT A RACIST.

Okay, this was written by a black guy in Texas.... seems like he got some problem with the skin colour issue. x)

When I born, I BLACK.
When I grow up, I black.
When I go in sun, I black.
when I cold, I black.
When I scared, I black.
When I sick, I black.
And when I die, I still BLACK!

When you born, you pink.
When you grow up, you white.
When you go in sun, you red.
When you cold, you blue.
When you scared, you yellow.
When you sick, you green.
When you bruised, you purple.
And when you die, you gray
So who you callin' COLORED

Interesting. XD

Yupz, the long-awaited XJapan reunion concert is happening on the 28th, 29th and 30th of March at Tokyo Dome.

Honestly, I REALLY REALLY want to go... T_T. I mean, really, it has been a long long time Xjapan didn't appear since they disbanded 10 years ago.

Get the tickets?
The truth is, this concert's tickets sold out through the concert pre-sales before the official sale date even begin. Poor me. <=] ... However it really is a good news which really shows XJapan's popularity. =]
XJapan was the first band to sold out the Tokyo Dome. Now, they are the first band to sold out Tokyo Dome before the tickets even went on sales.

The unexpected sold out leads to an extra concert held on 29h of March and also increase in seatings in Tokyo Dome. Premier seats will also be auction off and part of the proceeds will go to charity.

The concert is the first concert of XJapan since the death of their former guitarist, Hide, on May 2, 1998. The reunion concert will be performed by the remaining living 4 members of XJapan of the pre-break up line -

Nocturne in F minor, Op.55 ,Chopin

Today. I am going to post a video of one of my favourite song (favourite nocturne would be more accurate, lolz).

Chopin's Nocturne in F minor, Op.55 No.1

This work was composed by Chopin in October 1843 and published in 1844; it is dedicated to Jane Stirling, a devoted pupil.

In this video, it was performed by the great legendary Russian-American pianist,
Vladimir Horowitz (1 October 19o3 - 5 November 1989)

Find out more about this magnificent pianist here.

This video was taken from the Television Concert at the Carnegie Hall on 1968.

Enjoy. =]

Beauty of Math 1

Math is a beautiful thing. Sometimes it may looks shocking too.

Check out the equations below....

1 x 8 + 1 = 9

12 x 8 + 2 = 98

123 x 8 + 3 = 987

1234 x 8 + 4 = 9876

12345 x 8 + 5 = 98765

123456 x 8 + 6 = 987654

1234567 x 8 + 7 = 9876543

12345678 x 8 + 8 = 98765432

123456789 x 8 + 9 = 987654321

Great isn't it?

Well this is just the first one, stay tuned for more interesting math equations. =]

Earth Hour

On 31 March 2007, 2.2 million people and 2100 Sydney businesses turned off their lights for one hour – they called it, the Earth Hour.

This massive collective effort reduced Sydney’s energy consumption by 10.2% for one hour, which is the equivalent effect of taking 48,000 cars off the road for one hour!

On year 2007, this is the Sydney's Earth Hour;
but on year 2008, it's going to become a global movement ---- The World's Earth Hour.

So, what exactly is Earth Hour? It is created to take a stand against the greatest threat our planet has ever faced, Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming.

This simple act has captured the hearts and minds of people all over the world. As a result, millions of people in some of the world’s major capital cities, including Copenhagen, Toronto, Chicago, Melbourne, Brisbane, Tel Aviv and Manila will unite and switch off for Earth Hour.
When? The date is 29th of March 2008, 8pm.

Here's a video about it:
